Please note that unfortunately no hire is available this year (2009). We have no bikes at present but hope to be back with a new fleet soon. Apologies for any inconvenience.

What type of bike?:

GrinUpNorth has in the past hired hardtail mountain bikes (with semi-slick tyre option) for use on longer distance expedition rides such as the C2C. We have also had enquiries for touring bikes and Hybrid type bikes (There are a few short sections we would advise against riding on such bikes but alternative routes are available). Would you be more interested in hiring this type of bike for the C2C. If so click here to e-mail us, simply saying tourer or hybrid. If there is enough interest then we may include these in our fleet next year.

All bikes are supplied with helmets, pumps, spare innertube and repair kits. Mudguards can be fitted if required

BOTTOMS UP! - We have a choice of saddles available for your comfort, from the original saddles, to mens and ladies gel saddles and extra gel covers. These are quickly interchangeable.

KITCHEN SINK! - If you have a lot of luggage to take with you, we have a range of rear panniers and racks available for hire to fit all bikes.
